Merideth Scalise

Merideth Scalise, MT-BC, joined the Noah’s Children team in October of 2021. Her passion for working with medically fragile children of all ages drew her to the Noah’s Children organization. The uniqueness and impactful care provided by Noah’s Children align with Merideth’s desire to help others through creative and joyful music-making.

Merideth aims to bring compassion, inclusion, and a cheerful presence to every music therapy session. Whether it be through singing, instrument playing, or songwriting, Merideth ensures each patient feels successful while highlighting their individuality and talents.

Merideth is a Board-Certified Music Therapist. She earned her bachelor’s degree in music therapy from West Virginia University. Upon completion of her schooling, Merideth finalized her undergraduate work as she interned at a music therapy private practice in Atlanta, Georgia. While in Atlanta, Merideth had the privilege of providing music therapy services to children and adults with varying abilities, veterans, hospice patients, and individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Outside of work, Merideth loves to travel and try new restaurants with her husband. Merideth enjoys going on walks and spending quality time with family.  

Merideth aspires to bring light and comfort to an often dark and difficult time for families. She appreciates the team approach from the Noah’s Children staff to ensure all patients feel supported, validated, and encouraged throughout their journey.
