Jennifer Agee, RN joined Noah’s Children in October 2018, but had been with Bon Secours as a NICU nurse for 11 years. She was able to work with the Noah’s Children staff during her time in the NICU and was impressed with the way the organization supported the entire family unit in various ways.

She was drawn to Noah’s Children by it’s uniqueness. Noah’s Children is able to meet the patients and families where they are; both where they are in their journey with their child’s diagnosis and in what location they need support, be it in the home or at clinic visits.

Aside from a desire to make a difference in the lives of others, my favorite thing about nursing has always been the relationships that are formed with my patients and their families, with my co-workers and with the community.  Noah’s Children has given me the opportunity to partner with families, co-workers and the community in a more holistic way and to use my nursing and communication skills outside the walls of a hospital

Jennifer has a B.S. in Health Administration from James Madison University, an A.A.S in Nursing from John Tyler Community College and a BSN from Walden University. She has worked in various medical practice settings, including physical therapy, cardiology, and family practice.

When she is not working, she enjoys reading, trying new recipes, planning trips and game nights with her family and friends.  She and husband live with their 2 children and cats: Mouse and Elsa (I know, I know…”Let it go….let it goooo”). For those dog lovers out there, Jennifer doesn’t consider herself to be a cat person and had a dog in the past.

Her passion is her family and they love to travel to new places and create memories together.

We are able to devote time to really listening and understanding the family as a whole which allows our interdisciplinary team to personalize a plan of care. Parents are recognized and respected as the “expert” on their child and our team is committed to advocating for whatever goals are important to the family.
